Pushpa: A Story So Far
In December 2021, when going back to the movies seemed unlikely, Pushpa: The Rise was released. The movie is largely responsible for drawing viewers back to traditional movie theaters.
The 1990s are the setting for Pushpa's plot, which centers on the red sandalwood mafia. It described the ascent of smuggler Pushpa, portrayed by Allu Arjun, through the ranks.
Up until Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, a character played by Fahadh Faasil, assumed control as the area's SP, everything appeared to be going according to plan. After a violent argument between the two characters, Pushpa orders the SP to remove his uniform and tells him that, in contrast to Pushpa, who is a self-made man, the SP is nothing without his uniform.
With the Fahadh Faasil character threatening to get revenge on Pushpa, the movie ended abruptly, leaving viewers hungry to learn what happened next.
After appearing in part 1 of Pushpa, Allu Arjun won't be seen in a movie for more than two years in Pushpa 2.
The much anticipated "Pushpa 2: The Rule," the follow-up to the 2021 movie "Pushpa: The Rise," is scheduled to open in theaters on August 15, 2024.
